2. For the vehicle with 3rd registration plate or sticker, if one HSRP is damaged, then single HSRP (front or rear) with 3rd registration sticker be replaced and charged also to be taken for single HSRP and 3rd registration sticker only.
3. For the vehicle with 3rd registration plate or sticker, if both HSRP are damaged, then both HSRP (front and rear) with 3rd registration sticker be replaced and charged also to be taken for both HSRP and 3rd registration sticker.
4. If only 3rd registration has been damaged, then only 3rd registration has to be replaced and charged.

Protocols to follow before replacement and after replacement of HSRP and color sticker:

1. Replacement of any existing HSRP or 3rd registration plate / sticker may be done only by the motor vehicle dealer or vendor appointed by OEMs or state.
2. Old HSRP or 3rd registration plate / sticker must be surrendered and shredded by the registration plate issuing agency before replacement of any existing HSRP or 3rd registration plate / sticker.
3. The destruction records of old HSRP or 3rd registration plate / sticker shall be generated with suitable evidence and stored electronically.
4. Authorised dealer or vendor appointed by OEMs or state will have to update the information to the VAHAN software regarding the replacement of HSRP and 3rd registration plate / sticker.
5. Proper records of the damaged HSRP and 3rd registration plate / sticker must be maintained.

1. The vehicle owner will file the FIR about vehicle lost or vehicle theft.
