TATA WPL season 2 was won by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) by eight wickets in a tightly contested Final at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Tata women’s Premier League (WPL) season 2 was played between 23rd February to 17th March 2024. The opening match of the tournament has been played at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. Like Men’s IPL (Indian Premier League), WPL also was very exciting and competitive. Season 2 had 5 teams like season 1 and at later stage, the no. of teams may be increased. The mascot of WPL was a tigress wearing a sky blue cricket uniform.
All the matches of WPL 2024 season 2 had been played in Bengaluru (M.Chinnaswamy Stadium) and Delhi stadium (Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi). The total number of matches in WPL were 22, in which 20 matches were league matches and 2 matches were knockouts. The Bengaluru had hosted first 11 matches and rest 9 league matches and 2 knockouts matches had been hosted by Delhi. All the matches were played at 19.30.
