Expected DA hike for Central Government employees from 1st January 2022

DA hike from 1st Jan 2022 will be known to us after releasing of AICPIN of Nov’21 and Dec’21. DA hike for Central Government employees till October 2021 has been calculated below, which is 33.26% for 7th cpc and 200.91% for 6th cpc.

  1. Revised DA hike for 7th Pay central government employees has been increased to 31%, increment of 14% from 1st July 2021.
  2. Revised DA hike for 6th Pay central government employees has been increased to 196%, increment of 32% from 1st July 2021.
  3. Revised DA hike for 5th Pay central government employees has been increased to 368%, increment of 56% from 1st July 2021.

Revised DA hike for CDA pattern employees of CPSEs in 7th pay scales from 1st July 2021:

DA will be hiked to 31% from 17%, increment of 14% from 1st July 2021 will be applicable for CDA pattern employees of CPSEs of 7th cpc governed by HPPC recommendations. But their official order for DA hike is issued by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) under Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises.

DA hike for CDA pattern employees of CPSEs in 6th pay scales from 1st July 2021:

DA will be hiked to 189% from 164%, increment of 25% from 1st July 2021 will be applicable for CDA pattern employees of CPSEs of 6th cpc governed by HPPC recommendations. But their official order for DA hike is issued by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) under Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises.

DA hike for CDA pattern employees of CPSEs in 5th pay scales from 1st July 2021:

  1. DA will be hiked to 406% from 362%, increment of 44% from 1st July 2021, for 5th CPC CDC CPSE employees, who have not allowed the 50% merger of DA with basic pay.
  2. DA will be hiked to 356% from 312%, increment of 44% from 1st July 2021, for 5th CPC CDC CPSE employees, who have allowed the 50% merger of DA with basic pay.

The formula of DA calculation for 7th CPC pay scale for old base year is : DA = [(Average of AICPIN-IW for last 12 months) – 261.4] / 261.4 x 100. The linking factor for AICPIN-IW old base year is 2.88 multiplied by AICPIN-IW new base year.

  1. If I remember correctly it is first time that DA has been withheld. So far inspire of so many disasters, 65, 71 war. DA wasn’t held in fact while govt faced crunch the DA arrs used to be credited in to provedent fund and current was paid in cash.
    First time BJP so called Hindu Govt, filled it’s bags by asking public in shadow of Covid to donate new PM cares fund which is not under RTI , accountable to public., whereas PM relief fund already existed and was used for public so far and was under RTI if I am not wrong.
