On 1st August 2022, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister announced that the Dearness allowances of state government employees will be 34% from August 2022. At present the Dearness allowances of state government employees is 31%. So, on the line of central government employees’ DA and DR, the hike of 3% was announced.
This Dearness allowances of state government employees will be applicable from August salary itself, but they will receive this updated DA in September month. This hike in Dearness allowances will benefit the 7 lakh MP state government employees.
The last hike in March 2022 was 11%, which was very big, but this time it is 3%. The MP government will have to bear extra Rs. 650 Crore for this DA hike adjustment.
DR or Dearness Relief hike updates of Madhya Pradesh state govt. pensioners from 1st May 2022 (7th Pay):
Dearness Relief of Madhya Pradesh state government pensioners or family pensioners of 7th pay has been hiked by 5%, making DR to 22% from 17% from 1st May 2022. This DR hike circular has been attached below to download in pdf.
